Volunteering is a great way to support D2MG's work and become more involved with the hiphop community.

 

Whether it's helping out as an admin in our classes, leading and mentoring our dance crew, or forming strategies to evolve the organisation to the next level as an exec member, you'll be helping us on our mission to spread hiphop culture to the wider Australian community.

 

Hiphop has had a history of making a difference to young people's lives, from the days of its origins with Afrika Bambaataa's Zulu Nation, to more modern day stories such as Tiny Toone's impact on Cambodian youth.

  • D2MG Class Administrators – Provide administrative assistance to D2MG class teachers

  • Event Support Volunteers â€“ Help to run events and ensure they run smoothly

  • Executive Officers â€“ Form and implement strategies to grow D2MG as an organisation and advance the reach of hiphop culture

  • D2MG Crew Leaders – Lead younger, less experienced dancers to advance their level of street dance to another level

  • D2MG Teachers â€“ Share their knowledge with those who are newer to the community and who wish to improve their art

  • Advisor / Mentor – Guide and mentor the executive team to ensure that it stays aligned with the true values of hiphop culture
